Arconic Foundation has been a valuable supporter of the Beamline for Schools Competition (BL4S) since 2016. Now and for the third year in a row, we are glad to announce their renewed support for BL4S 2018.
It is with the continuous engagement of our supporters that we are once more able to offer high-school students worldwide the opportunity to engage with science in the most creative and amusing way, testing themselves as innovators and collaborators with the amazing prize to come to CERN to carry out their experiments.
BL4S is a CERN & Society project and has managed so far to engage almost 7,000 high-school students and more than 700 teachers with Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), aiming at nurturing and inspiring the next generation of scientists and innovators.
You can find out more about the competition, the beamline and experimental facilities, and read about winning teams from previous years on the BL4S website.
