The Motorola Solutions Foundation supports once more the Beamline for Schools Competition. Since 2015, the Motorola Solutions Foundation, the charitable arm of Motorola Solutions, Inc., has been a valuable supporter of the Competition. Now we are once more proud to list the Motorola Solutions Foundation among our partners that will help us make the 2018 Competition possible.

Motorola Solutions Foundation funding will enable CERN & Society to bring high-school students from all over the world closer to science, excite them and give them the opportunity to try themselves as innovators and collaborators through the Beamline for Schools Competition. During the Competition, students gain knowledge and enrich their skill set, learn to work in teams and tackle challenging scientific concepts for the ultimate prize to come to CERN to carry out their experiments.

BL4S is a CERN & Society project and has managed so far to engage almost 7,000 high-school students and more than 700 teachers with Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), aiming at nurturing and inspiring the next generation of scientists and innovators.

You can find out more about the competition, the beamline and experimental facilities, and read about winning teams from previous years on the BL4S website
