30 April was the deadline to apply for the first ever CERN Entrepreneurship Student Programme. Students from 39 Universities across Europe, and from as far afield as India and New Zealand, will compete for 10 placements during summer 2018 where they will have the opportunity to work closely with, and learn from, experts on knowledge transfer and entrepreneurship at CERN. The CESP managed also to attract a considerable number of female candidates (28.5%), which reflects CERN's commitment to diversity in all its activities. 

The evaluation is ongoing and the final selection will be completed by May 20th. The 10 lucky students will be notified late May. Until then, please keep an eye on news from #CERNandSociety and #CERNKT.
