Make It Matter

Support Innovation

At the CERN & Society Foundation, innovation means impact. That's why we need your support for 4 projects making CERN innovations matter for society.

Zenodo: an open-access digital repository making the results of public research available to everyone.

BioDynaMo: an open-source tool for simulating large and complex systems using agent-based modelling.

CERN-MEDICIS: a CERN facility producing medical isotopes for cancer diagnosis and therapy.

TIMEPIX@school: an educational project providing schools with particle detector kits so students can get hands-on with science.

"By supporting this campaign, you help carry innovations building on CERN’s legacy into classrooms, hospitals, and communities. Together, we can make science matter where it’s needed most."
- Barbara Solich, Head of the CERN & Society Foundation

A Piece of CERN History for a Good Cause

And there is more!

If you donate 50 euro or above and wish to receive one, we will send you an authentic CERN data tape - both as a token of our appreciation for your contribution and a symbol of the innovation you are supporting*.

The data tapes were used at CERN between 2007 and 2022. They contain sample data from all LHC experiments - including a Higgs Boson event and matter-antimatter asymmetry.

Curious to know more about these tapes? Find out here!

Due to customs restraints, unfortunately we are only able to ship tapes to addresses in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland.

Please note, your shipment will not be posted until the campaign is closed, with arrival expected in January 2026.
