With its permanent exhibition "Universe of Particles", and numerous, fascinating public events and activities happening all year round, the Globe of Science and Innovation has a central role in CERN's efforts to achieve greater public engagement with science. Over the past two years, about 40 outreach events took place at the Globe engaging more than 15'000 participants in science-related discussions, while the “Universe of Particles" exhibition welcomed over 110,000 visitors in 2017 alone.
