About

Scientific discovery, innovative technologies and creative solutions stem from curiosity and collaboration.

For decades, CERN has demonstrated how bold ideas and international cooperation can change our understanding of the world and deliver lasting benefits to society. Today’s global challenges call for these same qualities – curiosity, creativity, and collaboration – to be shared more widely and translated into impact beyond the laboratory.

Working with like-minded partners, the CERN & Society Foundation creates opportunities for people to be inspired, to connect across disciplines and to turn knowledge into action. The Foundation advances its mission through Education & Outreach, Innovation & Knowledge Exchange, and Culture & Creativity.
